:: Sunday is winding down -- I've been working to finish up the 6 employee reviews this evening. I'm completely done with two, four more to go. I made some delicious soup and grilled cheese for dinner (and we had some sushi too!)...cleaned up the kitchen, and then I helped Mimi with her first sponge bath since coming home from the hospital. It is difficult to keep a full arm cast dry, let me tell you. I also picked up a loose night gown for her today, and we were able to get her out of that yucky hospital gown finally. She's fresh as a daisy now.
:: Did chores earlier today -- grocery shopping, laundry.
:: Church was great this morning...and Aspen was able to do some volunteer work during the first service that will go toward her Ireland trip. She needs lots and lots of volunteer time!!!
:: Saturday was the December crop -- we had a small group, but it was a nice day. It was just me and Kim for a bit, and then Pam came around 1:30 or so. We were able to get some projects going, and exchanged Christmas gifts too. Fa la la la la! After the crop, I made a big pot of chili for dinner and we stayed in. Mimi rested most of the day.
:: Friday, I enjoyed my day off work and was able to get a lot of Christmas shopping done. Then I met Chris and we were able to bring Mimi home from the hospital. The dogs were very excited to see her! It took Poppy awhile to come around, especially with her wearing the cast/sling. Anything new or weird like that and Poppy gets scared. She is a weird-o! :)
:: The week ahead will be the busiest week of my year. The sales managers will be in town all week, we have a speaker all day Wednesday, we have our company-wide meeting Thursday, our end of year party is Thursday night. Whew! I am also going to see a recorded production of The Nutcracker with my friend Angie on Tuesday, at the movie theater. I am looking forward to that. And Aspen is having her girls youth group over on Friday night, to have a big movie fest in the theater room.Very full week.
Hope you all have a good one!
