dog

:: Another Monday!

:: Mine started off with some excitement -- around 7:30 am I took Poppy outside for a second time to finish her business. And spotted a stray dog in our yard. She was just sitting there looking at us, but her tail was wagging. I scooped Poppy up and the dog bounded over. It was an older puppy, maybe 8 months to a year. Looked kind of like a Golden Doodle. She was excited and jumped all over me, and it took everything I had to get inside! I thought she might wander off...we tend to see a lot of stray dogs out here, and they always head off on the way. Not this girl. She must have thought she was home. She stayed on our porch and whined whined whined all day. Mimi finally called her friend Eric and asked if he would be able to help us out and come get her to take to the shelter. He kindly agreed and got there around 3:00. When he saw her, he told Mimi that he'd like to keep her -- so she may have found a home -- if his new bride allows it :)

:: I also did a little arm comparison...this is the same arm. The left side was taken yesterday and the right side was taken a few weeks ago. Tonight is also my LAST night of the plank challenge!!! (If I am able to accomplish it)...the 5 minute plank. I did 4.5 minutes last night and it was rough. No lie. I pray the whole entire time for the strength to make it. So I will pray again tonight, and hopefully finish the 5 minutes. If not, I will continue trying until I get it. It is good to challenge ourselves -- it gives us something to work toward and that is healthy. Have you challenged yourself lately?

:: Currently I am having some Watermelon wine and am about to do some scrapbooking...I'm also watching The Bachelorette, for the first time this season. Not sure I can get into it, so may switch over to Friends :)

:: Chris and Aspen had a full day at sea today -- can't wait to find out how they spent it!!! I probably won't hear from Chris but one time this week, so until then we'll just have to contemplate. :)
