happy father's day!

:: Happy Father's Day!! To all you fantastic fathers out there! Including my dad, my step-dad, my two grandpas, my Clarence, and my wonderful husband.

:: Friday evening, we went to dinner at Casa with Greg, Lauren, and Aspen...Lowes, Target, and then home...

:: Saturday morning, Chris and I woke up early and went on a 24 mile ride/run. Whew!!!  Another long training run for him. It had rained the night before, and so it was cool, cloudy, and wet. I don't even know how long it took us -- between 3.5 - 4 hours. A long time for my butt on that bike seat!

:: Chris and Aspen left for their father/daughter bonding cruise on Saturday! They left at 3:30 and drove to Galveston...stayed in a hotel about 2 miles from the port. Woke up and relaxed Sunday morning; went to Target, PetSmart, etc, and had lunch at Wing Stop. Then dropped the car off at the port and boarded the ship! He called me at 4:30 as the boat was pulling away from the dock. And they are off!!

:: The scrapbooking has begun! I have a huge mess in my scrap room already. I have not scrapbooked in quite awhile and feel like my mojo is missing...I am on a mission to get it back!

:: Sunday, after church, Mimi and I went to the movies! We saw Fault in our Stars and it was really quite good. It was quirky and touching and funny and sad. Very sad. After the movie, I ran to Target, the Natural Food store, and the grocery store. Then I spent the afternoon making egg muffins, nut butter, and chocolate pops. I'm all set for the week ahead! Then dinner on the back porch.

:: The week ahead will be good -- scrapbooking, projects, lunch with my bestie, and I'm hosting a jewelry party on Friday...happy week to you!!
