:: Happy Sunday!
:: Saturday, the ice had started to melt, and so everyone in town broke loose from their homes and got out to do SOMETHING. Whatever that might be!! Chris went on a 10 mile run, and was happy to be on the road instead of the treadmill. We had lunch at Enchilada Express, and then hit up Michaels so that I could spend my gift card! I had fun shopping with my gift cards this year: from Michaels, I stocked up on cardstock for scrapbooking, and also bought some black letters and some 'friend' doodads; from Express, I bought some nice aviator sunglasses and cute blingy star earrings; and from Amazon, I bought two nutrition books, and a big book series of Karen Kingsbury (three books in one). I should receive all shipments this week!! :) I am also awaiting another photo order from Snapfish so that I continue preplanning scrapbook pages for our February retreat!
:: And my second StitchFix is currently being created and I should receive that by 1/12 at the latest!! Yay!! I will use my Christmas money on that, if I like the pieces!!! Excited!
:: Saturday, Chris and I also went to the gun range, and we had a shooting contest! I scored 200 and Chris scored 219 -- a fairly close contest! :) I did discover something though. I shoot right handed, but I have been using my left eye. It dawned on my Saturday, and so it appears that I am cross dominant. There is a simple test to see which eye is dominant, and it is definitely my left eye. We watched some youtube videos to see how I can correct that. There are a few things for me to try, and then I will also try shooting left handed. Who knows! We will see what works. That evening, we went for catfish, and Mimi joined us...it was a full day!
:: Sunday, Pastor David started a new series for the new year, and it was a great message. The rest of my day has been chores -- grocery list, grocery shopping, laundry. Chris and I will do our book study in a bit, and I also need to put on my next batch of Jamberrys. I left them off this week, and my boring crappy nails are so blah! I'm ready for some fun!
:: The week ahead holds bunko -- and that is about it. Hopefully we don't receive any more ice. We are back to professional dress at work, after being able to dress casual for 3 solid weeks. That is not going to be fun :( I really like casual!!
Have a great week ahead everyone!!!
