life

:: Life is busy busy lately...work has so much stuff going on, while at the same time we're all trying to adjust to new management; outside of work, I'm busy too. This week, I had to print out 50 additional wedding invitations for a coworker, and hand trim/score/fold them. The wedding is this weekend, and they are still giving out invitations! The bride also asked me to do their wedding program for them (on Monday), so I've been spending my evenings working on that...trying to fit way to much copy into a little amount of space. I'm getting paid for it though, so I'll hush!

:: It's hard to get anything done with Mr. Ocho around...last night, I had to keep popping up to see where he had gotten to. Most of the times, he likes to get under the kitchen sink (he has easy access since we're redoing the kitchen cabinets and all of the doors are off!) Not too easy to concentrate in our household, right now...

:: Friday is the big NEUTER day...he'll be a sore pup for awhile...will pick him up Friday on my way home from work...

:: Tonight is the night!!! The big 2-hour So You Think You Can Dance finale. I'm so excited to see who wins!!!!!!

:: I'm about halfway through "Cesar's Way", the book by The Dog Whisperer...I'm learning a few things that I plan to share with you. I'll wait until the end of the book, so I can do it all at once.

:: I am loving Justin Timberlake's new song, Sexy Back!!! Mmm mmm...

:: We had another Financial Peace seminar today at lunch...today's topic was Retirement and College Savings. Interesting stuff. But things must be done in order: 1. $1000 in an emergency fund 2. Pay off all debt (except house) using the debt snowball 3. 3-6 months of living expenses in the emergency fund 4. Start investing for retirement 5. Start saving for college. So, first things first. We're rebuilding the emergency fund, and working on the debt. Chris just paid off another debt last night. That leaves us with only three more: my ring, Chris' student loan, and Chris' Explorer. Not too shabby!!

:: That's all for today! Need to get my dinner cooking, so we can be done eating in time for my show! :)

life is crazy busy right now, isn't it? And I certainly don't like it! I like our laid back schedule. Maybe it will slow down.

Sounds like your financial peace seminar is still enjoyable! I would love to take that at some point as well.

Hope your days calm down soon!
