fried

I sit here trying to think of something entertaining or interesting to blog about...truth be told, my brain is fried. Fried fried fried.

So, sorry...nothing entertaining or interesting here folks!

I am swamped at work. Crazy, stressful swamped. Non-stop all day long. Can't concentrate on anything, complete anything because something new is always cropping up, endlessly.

I'm stressed.

I come home and there's the long to-do list for getting our house ready, and the decision to make about where to build, and the worry about whether we'll be able to find a rental while we're building.

I'm fried.

And there's the never-ending Aspen drama, something new everyday. Ten year old attitude.

I'm discouraged.

Right now, I would LOVE to be on a deserted beach, laying on a hammock between two big palm trees...good book in one hand, a fruity frozen drink in the other...Chris laying on a hammock in the next tree...salty air lulling me to doze...enveloped in relaxation and calm and peace...

I yearn for relaxation and calm and peace, and yet our life is non-stop. When we are finally in a new house and all of this has died away, I WILL HAVE MORE DOWN TIME. I WILL FIND RELAXATION EVERYDAY.

Oi.

I think we are all too busy at times but out of all of this blog the word "Hammock" made me giggle! Hang in there you will be in you "Hammock" soon and you can say it your way!

Life sure can get crazy, can't it? Dealing with the house stuff alone is sometimes enough to drive a person batty. But it is all so worth it in the end! Perhaps you will build where you have two trees to put that Hamm"i"ck in! I know it wouldn't be in a desert island or between palm trees (palm trees just don't grow in this are.) BUT it will be your new home! Hang in there, you can do it! You can do it!!

(for some reason my spell check is telling me I misspelled hammock above! HA! *grin*)

Sorry you're so stressed and busy right now.

But just keep in mind it will pass, and you'll get your much-needed down time.
