catching up

:: Well, I didn't get home from work this evening until 7:00...so not much productive packing being done here.

:: Decided that I do have a sinus infection, so went directly to the walk-in clinic after work. Was nearly 6:30 by the time I got out of there with a shot in the rump. Then, went to Walgreens to pick up another prescription and turn in the antibiotic the doc gave me. Will start that one tomorrow.

:: Chili dogs and frito pie for dinner...needed something quick.

:: On top of the lovely sinus infection (which, I always feel so dang unattractive when I can't breathe, all chapped lips and gasping for air!), I developed a migraine this afternoon. I asked the doc about those too, since I can't take ibuprofin or aspirin because it causes allergic reactions. She told me that all the migraine medications out there basically have caffeine in them. So, I've been guzzling some caffeine this evening and am feeling a little better actually. Sleep should hopefully kick it completely.

:: Wanted to share this...love it!!! This sucker is sharp and its the best knife I've ever used. Got it from Target for cheap!

:: Loving this song...we even requested it and they sang it for us at church!!! Our church has an amazing worship team, and Jessica has a pure, beautiful voice. She sounded amazing!

:: Bunko tomorrow...another night of little packing! But, it's ok. I don't have any boxes! Have a few trickling in here and there, but my coworker hooked me up with her friend who just moved and saved boxes for us. Just need to get in touch with her so we can pick them up!! Still waiting for a definite on whether we can rent the house we are wanting...that is making me a bit nervous as I don't want to be homeless in two weeks!!!

:: For our Halloween pumpkin contest win, our department gets to have lunch at the restaurant of our choice...tomorrow we are headed to Abuelos for some fellowship. I'm looking forward to it. We have such a great department, love my peeps!!!
