merry christmas to all

Christmas 2010 was good to us...and since we are building a house at the moment, we even scaled it all down quite a bit. And that was NICE.

Friday evening, we went to the candlelight service at our church, and then came home to eat some delicious snacks and open gifts. Saturday morning, we woke up and did stockings, and then after Chris ran 21 miles in 20 degree weather, we all had a delicious Christmas lunch. Wonderful times!

My mom sent us a beautiful set of Christmas dishes as our gift this year! So pretty! Every year, we do our gifts on Christmas Eve and enjoy a buffet of yummy snacks. It was so nice to have such festive dishes to serve with!! Thanks Mom!

We are thankful for such a jolly holiday season, we are certainly beyond blessed!

But more than anything, we are thankful for Jesus...without his birth, there could be no death. And without that, we'd have nothing...
