:: I got home from St. Louis on Friday around 7:30 or so, and Chris and I headed to Red Robin for dinner...then looked for a wedding gift, with no luck...
:: Saturday was pretty busy. Chris ran 23 miles, and Aspen and I cleaned the house. Then we went out to see the house progress. We now have framing going up. Chris and I had a few concerns, and Chris is talking them through with the builder. Looks like it is all systems go now. I got some computer organization taken care of that needed doing, and then we went to dinner with Aspen at Famous Daves. Ended up at Kohls and did find a wedding gift there.
:: Today our new round of classes at church began, and Chris and I are taking the Spiritual Disciplines class. Should be interesting, with a lot to learn and apply. After church, we ate a quick lunch at Taco Bell, then I went grocery shopping. Oh Walmart. You suck the life right out of me.
:: I bought some perfume with a bit of my Christmas money...I am not a perfume person, but I really liked the smell and I thought it smelled good on me, which is a whole different thing!! I love the smell of one of Britney Spear' perfumes, but it was awful on me. Body chemisty, I suppose. I bought Halle Berry's "Pure Orchid"...I typically wear scented body sprays instead of perfumes because the smell of perfumes is too intense for me. So we shall see how this goes!
:: Is it odd that I found something I want for ME in the Pottery Barn kids catalog?? :) Actually, there are a ton of adorable things in there. But these...oh my. These are on my list for my new scrapbook room. They are the right colors (pink and green) and they are the sweetest owl book ends!!! Take a look...in love!
:: The week ahead will be a tad crazy for me. On Wednesday at 4:00, I will be going on a business trip to Las Vegas! I will be there until Friday. This will be my first trip to Vegas, and I wish Chris was going too. But, it should be an interesting few days. No, I won't be gambling...I am just not a fan of that. I would rather have a pair of shoes to show for my money!!! Which, I hear the shopping is pretty good there, so maybe I'll find a little somethin somethin...
:: I'm currently reading a free book on my kindle. There are a lot of free books available and the selection changes. Right now I'm reading "The Year She Fell" by Alicia Rasley. It's actually very good so far!! And free is even better...

Have fun in Vegas! The shopping is good...if you are staying on the strip, Cesear's Palace and Venetian have malls inside the hotel I think...lots of fun things to see and do if you aren't into gambling, so you will have fun no doubt. :)
Vegas...you know one of my fav's. Yes, you can shop you little heart out. Love the owl bookends! Enjoy the trip. PTS

Oh, have fun in Vegas for us. Except for the smoke, BG and I always have a GREAT TIME! Yes, the shopping is fun--lots of bling on the shoes-hah!! And you could put in a few nickels in the nickel slots for me--so fun--you feel like you are winning a bunch-hah!! Have fun, T
