updating

:: Tried something new over the weekend...an Earl Grey Latte at Starbucks. I've never had milk in my hot tea, so it was an interesting experience. I'm not sure if I liked it or not. May try it again in a different flavor of tea.

:: I finished my first book on my Kindle! I bought "Oogy", a book about a dog. It wasn't as good as "Marley & Me", but it was an interesting story. The poor dog was bait for fighting dogs, and they tore off one whole side of his face. The doctors were able to save him, and the author's family adopted him. The greatest thing is that even after such a brutal attack by dogs and such inhumane treatment by people, the dog showed no fear or anger toward either. He was so happy and changed the life of everyone he came into contact with. Pretty cool.

:: Brad is the Bachelor...again. I'm interested to see the season! I liked him the first go-round, even if he didn't pick someone, and for him to come back on and share his years of therapy and the issues he's dealt with. That takes a big man.

:: I got a big jar of body sugar in my stocking at Christmas, and I am loving it!!! It's a yummy scent mixture of coconut and lime, and it makes my skin feel sooooooo soft. Ahhh. If I can't eat sugar, I might as well slather it all over my body :)

:: We watched two movies over the long weekend...Grown Ups with Adam Sandler and Iron Man 2. Grown Ups was pretty darn funny, we all enjoyed that one. You can't go wrong with that cast. Iron Man 2 was ok. I liked the first one better.

:: We're back to a full staff at work...Victor is back from his Sabbatical and our new guy Evan started today. And we're off to another new year!!
