good deal

Friday evening, Chris and I enjoyed a yummy dinner at Double Daves, and then saw Black Swan with Natalie Portman. As a former ballerina, I was really excited to see this movie. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting and was bizarre in a lot of ways. But it was worth seeing. A big thank you to my hubby for seeing a ballet movie with me! :)

:: Saturday, we spent the day running around town. We looked at grills for our outdoor kitchen, looked at furniture, looked for clothes for Maui. It was a full day. And we had lunch at Szchuan's, which was delish! Mmm. We've been looking for new living room furniture for our new house, because we needed a lot more seating due to the larger size. We had a good idea of what we wanted, and were thinking to get either a couch and two loveseats or a couch, loveseat, and two chairs. We've had no luck so far, but Saturday was our day! We went to the liquidation sale for Ashley Furniture, which closed due to bankruptcy. We found exactly what we were looking for fabric-wise, color-wise, and style-wise, and we got an incredible deal!!!! We ended up with a couch and two loveseats for UNDER $1,000!!!! All three pieces. We walked out of there high fiving each other. So awesome! It's sitting in our garage right now, and may have to stay there until we move in a few months. It is super soft courderoy material and will be so cozy...

:: Sunday we went to our church class and to church, and then had a day of chores...hope you had a good weekend!!
