lots of little things

:: My allergy appointment went well this morning...when I got there, a few of the women were excited to see me even! It was a nice welcome :) The doctor retested me, and though all my allergies were still accounted for, there were three things that were extremely flared up. Cedar and ragweed were two of them, which are fall/winter allergies. She said I should be coming out of the timeframe for those. She also said my cat allergy was pretty bad, and that would be because the rental house we live in used to have a cat in it. That explains a lot to me! So, when we move out of here, that should hopefully improve a whole lot. She isn't ready for me to start back on the shots yet, and wanted to try adding mucinex D to my daily regimen of Zyrtec, along with a nasal spray. I'm supposed to try this for a month or two and let her know if I don't see any improvement.

:: I wanted to share the light we purchased for the wine room in our new home...it's perfect!!

It looks even better in person...the grapes are raised up, and it's gorgeous when the light shines through.

:: The house is coming along...they stained the cabinets today and they are beautiful! They're still working on the stone on the front, and they put brick underneath a few of the windows. Which we have told our builder at least twice that we did NOT want. All stone on the front. So, that will have to be fixed.

:: Chris is driving a little Kia while his car is in the shop...zoom zoom!

:: I am sooooooo excited! I have been searching for weeks for my favorite straightening spray that I use on my hair. I haven't been able to find it anywhere. It's FX brand, in a purple bottle. Well, at Walgreens this evening, I gave it one more look and FOUND IT! It is in different packaging, which is why I haven't seen it I guess. The packaging isn't very noticable at all, which doesn't help. But I found it and can't wait to use it tomorrow!!!! Nothing else I have tried comes even close.

:: I finished my book and have begun a new "free Kindle" book. This one is called, "Just As I Am"...the main character has purple hair, so it should be interesting!!
