normal day

:: The started installing the lights at the house today, and it's looking good so far. They also got the two stone columns in the entryway finished.

:: I haven't been watching Idol consistently, but couldn't believe that America voted Casey off! I was thinking he was going to win. Obviously, the judges think so too, because they used their one "save" of the season. He's just different and very talented. I do hope he goes all the way.

:: Exactly one month until my birthday :)

:: Poppy is adjusting...she is getting to know all of us and we are getting to know her. Her and Ocho are slowing working things out. She has slept really good every night. 3 out of 4 nights all the way through, and one night just whined one time. She's making her place in our family. She is already getting nicknames, like Poppy Sue, Poppy Taco, Crybaby, Little Girl...

:: Tonight I am going to skip the treadmill and do some weights instead. Work the arms a little bit. My eating is going very very well. I did have a little pasta tonight, but kept my portion small.

:: Having dinner with friends tomorrow at Chili's, and then Aspen has a track meet on Saturday. Beyond that, no plans for us. Looking forward to the down time...
