:: It's about 106 degrees today...pretty typical of late. When we got home from work, the house seemed hot...and Chris discovered that the temp in the house was 85. With a thermostat set on 80, that shouldn't be happening. So, we've contacted the builder and he's going to have the air conditioner guy call. Luckily, we have two units, so the bedrooms are still cool!
:: Speaking of hot...with the heat and the lack of rain for so long, I heard today that they are not selling fireworks this year in our county. It is just too dry and we've already had a lot of trouble with fires. Not sure if the town will still be doing a show or not...
:: Finale of The Voice tonight! Very excited! Should be great, as they are all singing original songs. Can't wait...who is your favorite??
:: Time is ticking down to Mom's visit!!! I have to work through tomorrow, and then I'm off on Thursday. Picking her up at the airport Thursday around 1:15!!! A 6 day stretch off work and a wonderful visit planned with my mom! Pretty darn nice!
:: Our house is in a commercial!! :) I haven't seen it, but Mimi and Aspen did. It's a Big Country Stone commercial, and they show our house on it. Pretty cool! We do love our stone, so I'm happy that they liked it enough to showcase it!
