this and that

:: Busy week so far! Had dance tonight -- we went over the tango a bit, since that is the dance we'll be doing at the upcoming trophy ball. Kind of nervous about that. But, we also had a long discussion with our instructor, as it seems that our group of 4 couples is disbanding. One couple wants to stop, one couple wants to go to private lessons, and the other couple will probably quit. That leaves us to decide if we want to continue on as a private lesson. Which is what I think we were leaning toward, but then she told us how much it cost!!!! It is way more money than our group situation. $35 MORE per lesson. Hmmm. We'll discuss it, but that is a ton of money. So not sure about that.

:: Haven't been able to watch The Voice this week :( I am off on Friday and plan to catch up then.

:: I received an amazing gift today from my dear sweet hubby!!! I have been studying a lot about forgiveness these past few years, especially lately. I've been thinking about getting another tattoo with the word "forgive" and have been looking for ideas. Chris had a painting done for me based on the theme!! He found the woman on etsy, and the painting is beautiful!!! I will attempt to take a photo of it for you to see. It is based on Matthew 18:22, where Jesus tells us that we should not forgive people seven times, but 77 times. Which basically comes down to -- you should continue to forgive, as many times as it takes. I love the painting!!! What a beautiful surprise!!!! My husband is amazing...thank you so much so such a thoughtful gift.

:: Tomorrow is Halloween, can't wait to see what everyone dresses up as. My department chose not to dress up as a group this year because we could never decide on anything. Chris' department is though and they are going to look awesome!!!! We are having a little Halloween get together out in our gazebo at work at 10:00 for snacks and fellowship. Our construction at work has cut into our monthly luncheons, and we haven't had one in months. So that will be nice!!
