:: Great weekend here!! Friday evening, Aspen went to the playoff football game held in Wichita Falls (about 2.5 hours away)...sadly, the boys lost. Their perfect 12-0 season came to an unfortunate end. While she was out, Chris and I enjoyed a date night!! We had dinner at Heff's and had a yummy meal. We stopped at Target for a bit, and I bought the Tenth Avenue North cd -- they sing my current favorite song, Losing. So excited to give it a good listening to!! Then we went to see a movie -- Flight with Denzel Washington. Hmm. Interesting movie. Not really sure what to say about it really. Wasn't my favorite but it wasn't bad.
:: Saturday, did my run (9 minutes and felt fairly decent!) and then worked on a few things. Attempted another wine label for Chris' wines...started the baby boy scrapbook I'm doing for a client (got 5 pages done!). Then me, Chris and Aspen went to dinner at Szchuen and grocery shopped. And then home to watch three episodes of the second season of The Walking Dead. We are addicted to that show big time! Went to bed after midnight...
:: Sunday, after church, we put up our Christmas tree and decorations! The house looks so pretty, topped off with our newest decoration - the beautiful wreath my mom made for us! Now the house looks very festive and we are getting in the holiday spirit!! We cleaned house and I did laundry, and then we grilled out a delicious dinner and had Aspen's boyfriend over so we could finally meet him. Our first impression is that we really like him -- he seems like a very nice guy and he and Aspen are very cute with each other. We look forward to getting to know him better...
:: Bunko this coming Wednesday!! And then this weekend, we are heading to Dallas for a fun weekend with the Halfmann family! We are going to go to the botanical garden to take our annual Christmas card photos! Very excited...and we are going to make a day of it, and stay the night in a hotel, and return home the next day. Should be a wonderful time with wonderful friends!!
:: Hope you all have a great week ahead!
