glad tomorrow is friday

:: So last night was my first run since I finished the Couch to 5k program...which means that it was my first run on Coach Chris' running program :) He told me my first run would be a 17 minute run. Okidokie! However, we got started and I was feeling better than I ever have before. So I ended up running as fast as I could instead :) My typical mile time is around 11:30, and more like 12:30 or 13:00 on the longer runs. Last night I ran my mile in 10:05! That was so exciting! Unfortunately I wasn't able to enjoy my success afterwards since I was near death! I really petered out at the end...probably held out for about 9 minutes, and then the last minute just killed me. I didn't think I was even going to be able to finish! But, I am proud of my time and look forward to improving it. Tonight, I did the run that I was supposed to do last night - the 17 minute run. It went pretty well actually...nothing hurt, felt fairly comfortable, and felt decent afterwards. I have one more run this week, we shall see what Coach Chris has in store for me.

:: Tonight I made a fabulous dinner! Baked tilapia, roasted asparagus, and roasted red potatoes and onions. Oh yummm! And all heatlhy :) Roasting is my favorite thing to do...it sounds like something difficult but it's the most simple process really...and so delicious!

:: Not much else is going on. I'm working hard to get our Napa album done so that I can use the current Winkflash sale...it will save me lots of money! Have to have it ready by 2-5...just a little left to do.

:: Aspen left a note on the counter, as a reminder to herself for the morning. It said, "tuberware". I smiled and asked her what her note meant. She grabbed the plastic container out of the fridge and held it up for me, like, this duh! I told her it was tupperware, and just had to chuckle at her.

:: We watched a show tonight called "Death: It's a Living"...it was all about the funeral industry. Kind of interesting. And at the NFDA convention they showed at the end, we were able to see our FDLIC booth :) Kind of cool!!

:: Time for bed...ta ta!
