new year!

:: Happy New Year everyone! Hope you enjoyed a fun and safe New Year's Eve, and a wonderful New Year's Day!! Welcome 2013!

:: New Year's Eve, Aspen went to dinner with Kevin and his dad, and then went to his house to hang out. Chris and I had a delicious dinner  with Neeley and Lauren at Cypress Street, and then went back to Lauren's house for wine and visiting. It was a low key evening, but very nice. Chris is still feeling sick, so we didnt want to get to wild!

:: New Year's Day was nice and relaxing...Chris worked on our new Quicken program for our finances, and I cleaned and decluttered my scrapbook room. That took a very long time. I have a lot of knickknacks in there and so it is very dusty. Now it is all clean and nice! Also went through the big closet and organized that. It is always a great day in the life of Kelley when I can use my label maker :)

:: A little upset though -- they were supposed to be showing the Walking Dead episodes that we need to see (the two that we don't have recorded) and for some reason AMC is showing a Mad Max marathon instead. Boooooo! Now not sure where or how we will see the first two episodes of Season Three.

:: Back to work tomorrow -- and no more casual dress code :( Back to high heels. Booooo!!!

:: Did my run today...17 minutes again. It's about to get pretty tough in the next few weeks but I know I can do it! Was about 42 degrees when I went but thankfully I warm up very quickly! I am ready for our workout center to be completed at work so I can run on the treadmill there!!

:: Still reading Les Mis...still drudging through. Everyone is seeing the movie and claiming it is amazing. People who have read the book claim it is at the top of their favorite list. I'm really just not seeing it. Yet.
