sickly weekend

:: The weekend seems like it went very quickly...maybe because I was sick and don't feel quite ready to go back to work tomorrow!

:: Friday evening, Aspen spent the night with a friend and Chris and I had dinner at Johnny Carino's. Then we stopped briefly at Target to pick up a bridal shower gift, and proceeded to look at three different places (Target, CVS and Walgreens) for TheraFlu. Our nurse practioner at work says we shouldn't be taking Day Quil, that even if we don't have the flu, we should be taking TheraFlu. Haven't been able to find it in town yet. She recommends using the packets that dissolve in hot water, but they also have a liquid. I ended up getting the Wal Flu liquid.

:: Saturday, I rested as much as possible while the boys worked on the shop. Then I picked Kim up and we went to the bridal shower for a coworker. Afterwards, Chris, Aspen and I went to dinner at Cotton Patch, and then home to watch a movie.

:: Sunday, with me and Mimi sick, we decided to skip church...and I slept soooo good and work up around 10:00. That was so nice. Did laundry, and then pretty much relaxed all day. Worked on the wine label for Chris' wines, and making chili, cornbread and yankee corn for our Sunday dinner with Kevin. I am feeling a bit better. I'm able to breathe a lot better, and the cough is much better. I think the Wal Flu is helping a lot.

:: This coming Saturday is the crop! Can't wait! I think I am going to work on our Napa Valley printed album, need to get that finished up. Planning to finish up the baby boy album I'm doing at our February retreat, if all goes well.

:: I bought a subscription to a magazine for my Kindle, and love it!! It is so much cheaper than buying the paper versions, and it's delivered automatically to the Kindle. Technology is just crazy.

:: Alright, time to cook! Have a good week ahead!
