weekend

::  Hi there! Here is a quick weekend update...it's bedtime!

:: Friday evening, Aspen and Chris enjoyed a date night together! Dinner at Chicken Express and Texas Chainsaw movie...they had a good evening together! I enjoyed my quiet alone time quite a lot...watched some tv, read a little, and piddled around in my scrapbook room!

:: Saturday, Aspen went to hang out with her best friend and I went to do some gift card shopping! Found some cute things...a navy and white striped sweater, a new black cardigan, a new Fossil purse, and some running shirts and pants. Fun fun! Then Chris and I enjoyed a very nice evening together. Dinner at Szcheun and then shopping at Kohl's. And then a trip to Nikki's!

:: Sunday, after church, Aspen and I did the grocery shopping and then I did laundry and did my run. 20 minutes non stop!!! Woo hoo! Felt very heavy and slow today so it was not my best effort. But got it done!!! Never would have thought that I could say that!!! Then we made dinner and Kevin and his dad (also named Kevin) came over...it was our first time meeting his dad and that was very nice. He seems like a great guy, very nice and pleasant. I'm glad he came over and joined us for dinner...they left around 10:00 and now it's time for bed!!!
