busy

:: We had a pretty full weekend on our end...hopefully you had a great one!

:: Friday evening, we had a quick dinner at Chicken Express and with Aspen and then picked up some necessities at Lowes.

:: Saturday, Chris and I did 12 miles at 7:30 am. He ran and I rode the bike with him. It was six miles out and six miles back, and the first six miles was tough due to insane wind. Got home and relaxed for a bit, and then Aspen and I went to a bridal shower for a coworker. After a little time there, we did the grocery shopping and then headed home to get Chris. We spent the evening together at the Alzheimer Association's Dinner, Dance and Auction. It was for a great cause and we ended up winning one of the silent auction items. A huge trunk filled with movie goodies, ice cream goodies, popcorn goodies. I put the trunk behind our couch and filled it with blankets. It's cute!

:: Sunday, after church, Chris and I did some errands for Mimi's birthday (which is tomorrow, Monday!) and had lunch at Pizza Inn. Aspen and Mimi did some shoe shopping for Prom, and she found some cute ones. Since Kevin is just barely taller than Aspen, she doesn't want to wear heels...so she found some nice sandles with bling on them. Will look very nice with her dress. Then around 3:00, our friends came to visit with their new baby Kynlee! She is so adorable and we all took our turns holding her, even Mimi!!! Took some photos, but none were great -- she is squirmy!! Laundry and a quick dinner...and some other odds and ends.

:: Busy week ahead! Celebrating Mimi's birthday tomorrow with dinner at Red Lobster and then the honeybun cake that I made her. Tuesday I am getting my hair done (bye bye grays!). Thursday is the April date night for me and Chris -- we are going to the Cajun Fest downtown Abilene! Crawfish and shrimp in a big tent on the street. Saturday I might do a little shopping - saw at the mall today that everyone has their new Spring stuff out!!! So much cuteness!

Have a great week everyone!!!!
