fast weekend

:: This weekend went by fast...feels like we should have one more day. Oh well, back to work tomorrow...

:: Friday night, Chris and I had our July date night...we ate dinner at Mary's and then went to the movies to see Grown Ups 2 with Adam Sandler - we thought it was very funny!

:: Saturday, I made the grocery list and cleaned out the fridge, then ran a few errands. Then Aspen and I went to a 3:00 wedding. The son of our CEO, Kris, got married to a beautiful girl -- they had a very nice wedding at an old baptist church downtown, and a reception at the country club. Appetizers and a dessert bar with lots of yummy goodies...

:: Today was cleaning and laundry, grocery shopping...then I started doing some fun scrapbook things. I cleaned out my scrapbook closet and that always makes me happy! Then I started going through my albums and moving things around, to allow space for upcoming layouts that are yet to be completed. This is tedious, but something that Kim has figured out -- I typically have to do this a few times a year as I complete layouts, but if I go through and leave space for what's left, this will be the last time I have to do that. That will be nice! I made some good progress on that!

:: This evening I made a cinnamon roll monkey bread dessert for Aspen's birthday tomorrow - she will be 17. Hard to believe...time flies by. She has been in my life for 11 years now...11 very interesting years...I will post the recipe if it is yummy. It smells divine, so I can't see how it will be bad!! :)

:: Getting my hair done this week, and it is needing it bad...

:: Guess that is about it...on to a new week. Jesus be with us all...
