our weekend

:: It has been a nice, relaxing Sunday and for that I am thankful! We enjoyed a wonderful church service, and then I did the grocery shopping. The store was crazy busy, but I made it through. Put it all away and then had some lunch. Did the laundry. Chris planted an oleander plant in our front yard. Now he is working on cleaning up his damaged thumb nail. I will be making breakfast burritos for dinner and can't wait for that. Yum yum!

:: Tomorrow begins the last week of summer...then school begins!

:: This Friday we have our monthly luncheon at work, and looking forward to that. Not sure who is catering, but hey, it's free food!

:: Saturday, Chris and I are having some people from work over for a little get together. Chris and I are both supervisors in the company, and we are having the rest of the supervisors and their families over. There are 8 additional supervisors besides us, so it should be a good evening. I am going to try to make a sangria type drink in my new drink dispenser that I bought. It is so cute, it looks like a huge mason jar. I'm going to use sparkling moscato wine, and add lots of yummy fresh fruit.

:: We are going to finish up the school shopping on Sunday after church...and then after the first day of school, we will need to go and get all the school supplies she'll need for her classes.

:: The crop was fun on Saturday! I enjoyed the day with the girls, and the ride over with Kim. I decided to work on our digital travel album for our Maui trip in 2011. I have a few back trips that I need to get accomplished, and am in the mood to be doing those. So might as well get them done. There are so many photos that it can get overwhelming with trips, but I have a good system down now and it is working well.

Hope you all have an amazing week ahead!
