tuesday bullets

:: I was a beast today working out! And am paying for it now, as I am poooped. I started my 5K training today, and started off with 15 minutes running on the treadmill. I have only been running once a week (if that) and tops would be 10 minutes at a time. So this was already a good start for me. Burned 125 calories there. Then decided to continue on and do my full Beast workout of 30 minutes. Burned 300 calories there. So 425 in the books for today.

:: Missed The Voice last night, but am watching some tonight. I am excited for the season, love this show! If you were a fan of last season's winner, Cassadee Pope, she has a new reality show coming out on CMT. It's a reality show documenting her career after she won. I'm interested in seeing that, especially since it doesn't seem like any of the other winners have really done anything since winning. Her cd is about to be released, and it is already #9 on iTunes!

:: I feel good having my first week done in my project...and actually, Aspen helped me a lot just by asking some simple, innocent questions last night. I was sitting there, just staring at the screen. Feeling overwhelmed and not sure what direction I wanted to go. She was looking looking over my shoulder, and just asked a few things. Like, why is that colored block there, it looks weird? Why have it at all if you want room for more pictures? Why doesn't the journaling go in order of the photos so I know what I'm looking at? Why are you writing in the third person? All of that just clicked for me in my brain and I fixed those things. And was happy afterwards. It's very simple, but I think that is ok. It's about the journaling and photos. I'm excited to carry on through the next 48 weeks :)

:: We are thinking of painting our theater room a dark color...my vote is for a dark gray. We'll see what comes of it! I am also contemplating painting our laundry room too. Decorating it up a bit. First off I will need to find a fabric to make our bench cushion, and then I can pick a paint color from that. My first instinct is tiffany blue...
