We've all just seen how destructive Mother Nature can be...
But she can also be so beautiful. She is also able to inspire awe.
Chris called me on his way home tonight from soccer practice. Told me to head directly out the front door to try and get a photo of the gorgeous sunset. I couldn't see anything from our front yard. And then there he was, within seconds, whisking by in the Explorer and picking me up, and off we went in search of a spot to capture the beauty with our camera. It took us awhile to get to a spot, and the beauty wasn't as intense as it had been...but it was still pretty damn incredible.
I love that Chris shares my love of sunsets. I am enthralled with them...especially when you can see the rays coming out of the clouds. I have so many pictures of sunsets, I could do a whole album of them. Hmmm...there's an idea!!

Gorgeous!! I wish I would have looked outside last night to see it! Such a special moment that Chris was there to pick you up and off you both went looking for the perfect place to view it! He is a keeper indeed!
Love the photo, it's beautiful. So sweet that Chris took you to find the perfect vantage point to view it from. ::sigh:: Takes me back to the early days of me & Kenneth, watching the sun set almost every day on the river....
