Yeah...a girl can dream! :)
My busy work week is in full swing, two days down, two more to go. Tomorrow shouldn't be too bad, and Thursday will be jam packed with speakers and pizza lunches and the big celebration party. And the best news of all? I'm off on Friday, and Monday too!! So a lovely four-day weekend lays before me!!
I haven't had much time to read my favorite blogs the past few days, and I feel out of touch...out of contact. Hopefully I can check a few here and there, and get back in the groove.
Some things I know today:
:: Chris still has not decided what to wear to the formal party on Thursday...at this point, his choices are narrowed down to wearing a suit he already owns, or buying a new black suit for several hundred $$...yep, he's a last minute kind of guy!
:: I love that we are still receiving Christmas cards in the mail! Got three more today. I think we've received more cards this year than ever before. Very cool.
:: Am supposed to be having dinner with an out-of-town friend this evening, but am unsure of the plan. She just arrived into town and may not feel up to it this evening. Going with the flow on that one!
:: Chris is feeling much better, so it seems like he had a 24-hour stomach bug. Just his major bad luck that it hit on Christmas Day...
:: My new sexy boots killed my feet today...looks like I need to put some gel supports in there!
Can you tell my brain is fried? Very uninspiring today...sorry!

Hey Kelley, loved all of your Chrissy pics. Sounds like you had a great Chrissy apart from poor Chris. Interesting reading how you celebrate by opening your pressies Christmas Eve. We had our truck load on CHrissy morning and then did it all again a day late with Dan's parents on boxing day. Have a great day and enjoy your work party tomorrow! Sounds like a blast.
Here's looking forward to that long weekend! After this busy week I think you deserve it!! Hope you can figure something out to make those new boots feel good on your feet! Missing our walks this week!!!!!!! Hope your Wednesday is a good one.
All jealous about your 4 day weekend--Kenneth gets one too. At least I get 3 days. And hopefully time ti take down the Christmas tree.
And I know what you mean about being so busy and out of touch with "blogging friends!" Sucks, doesn't it?
Oh well, that's life as an adult I suppose. Sometimes you just gotta earn your pay...
So ready for a 3 day weekend and say yeah to you on the 4 dayer ~ enjoy. Glad Chris is better. I say go with the old suit and more importantly have fun at the party!
