Last night was our company Christmas party...it was a formal affair at the Civic Center. Chris and I got all prettied up, and had a nice evening together. We got our picture taken professionally, so hopefully that will turn out well. Each place setting had a pretty silver frame with our logo on it, perfect for that pic when we get it! There was gambling and dancing, and lots of mingling. We didn't end up winning any of the prizes, but that's okay!
Isn't my Chris such a cutie? He was the most handsome man at the party...I felt like such a lucky girl to have him at my side!
Take a look at the necklace I'm wearing...my grandma let me borrow it for the party. If I remember correctly, this is the necklace she wore on their 25th wedding anniversary, so it has a special meaning behind it. Oddly enough, our company was celebrating its 25th anniversary in business, so it was quite appropriate. I received so many compliments on the necklace...people I didn't even know told me how stunning it was. It was really the perfect necklace for the neckline too...it all just came together!
This is my buddy Pat that I spoke of a few days ago...isn't she just the cutest thing? She is headed home to Minnesota now, and I am so glad that she and I were able to spend a little time together.
And today...another Friday off! No work for me for the rest of 2005! I'm signing off now, and I'm going to go enjoy my quiet day alone!
