Okay, so this just proves it...I have the sweetest man ever!!
Yesterday, I posted about my slight "ba hum bug" feelings toward Christmas this year, how I am having trouble getting into the spirit. Chris and I had a little email conversation about it even, and he said that he was feeling the same way.
What does he do? On the way home from Aspen's basketball practice, he stopped at the grocery store. And when he got home, he presented me with two beautiful red poinsetta plants to add to our house decorations, along with some delicious sugar cookies with pink icing and candy cane bits sprinkled on top, AND a little gingerbread house for us all to build together.
It instantly brought a huge smile to my face. He does such thoughtful things like this, it makes my heart melt. I asked him what all of this was, and he answered, "I'm just bringing in a little Christmas spirit!"
Thank you, baby, for bringing in the spirit! Thank you for being YOU!!!!
