another day in a long week

Much more progress made on the house today. First all, loving our kitchen faucet!! And they fixed the granite, so the seams are much much better. Not sure how they did it but it's amazing now. So so happy.



They also got the rest of our lighting installed. Above is the big chandelier that hangs in our entryway. It's perfect for the space, looks really good. It's great to see everything that we picked out all coming together now, here at the end, to make a house. Wow.



These are the three lights that hang over the kitchen bar. They also look really good...

Besides these things, they also got the carpet installed in the living room and the master bedroom closet. They got the outside trim and garage door painted. They reinstalled all of the doors, and added the door knobs.

Will we be moving in on Saturday? Still don't know. We're a lot closer than we were, that much I can say!

I am very excited though, because after months of Chris not being excited, and finding something wrong everyday, today he actually said he was excited again. That he felt a little flutter!! So that's a good thing. Now that it's all coming together, he can finally see it all. Yay!

In other news...my wedding jewelry arrived today!! I just ordered it on Sunday, and they hand made four pieces, and it's already here. I am so impressed with Kira Designs, I absolutely love my stuff!!! It's exactly what I was wanting. So shimmery and catches all of the light. They fit perfectly. The colors are fabulous. Just wonderful. I will definitely get more stuff from that site!
