my day

:: Tonight was bunko, and I had a great time with the girls. Laughed a lot, and that felt good. Ended up coming home with the prize that I took...I know, I know. Sue me.

:: Have you ever had a weird reaction to a Band-Aid?? This is the second time I have. First time was years ago, I got a flu shot and the bandage they put on me reacted with my skin. All along the border where the bandage had been, I had a thin line of blisters. This week, I had put a bandage on my upper arm, and when I took it off, I saw the shape of one whole side of it still on my arm, all red. ?? Very bizarre. Chris is convinced that I am some odd breed of human where stuff like that only happens to me. He could be right.

:: Had kind of a weird afternoon at work. Sometimes things just kind of explode out of nowhere, and my day turns around quite rapidly! I handled it with grace though, and all should be fine.

:: I refuse to talk about old house, new house, or wedding today. Not gonna do it. Not gonna think about any of it.

:: Enjoyed a delicious piece of lemon cake with lemon icing this evening. That was quite refreshing!

:: I am in love with my acrylic nails. My nails always look perfect. Can't beat that. For a girl who has horrible peely nails that always looked ragged and unattractive, this is such a different feeling. My hands actually don't look half bad now! I have the natural tips instead of the white french manicure tips, and they look a lot more natural. Lots of people didn't even know they were tips!

:: My book, "Son of a Witch" is moving along slowly. I'm a little over halfway, and I'm not sure what the point of the book is yet. I'm hoping by the end I will understand and feel that it was worth reading. Right now, I'm not too sure.

:: Time to get ready for bed...another day tomorrow, and although it's Thursday, we will enjoy a Casual Day at work. Yay! We're having visitors in on Friday, so we couldn't be Casual that day. But we still get to be Business Casual, so that will be a little better than normal!!
