We had a pretty darned good weekend. How 'bout you?
Got some packing done. Pretty much done with that, except for the stuff in the garage.
Had a movie date with Chris Saturday night, which I always love. We saw "Knocked Up", and both thought it was very funny. If you can handle the "F" word about 400 times (and that is no exaggeration!), it's one to see.
Received the Swarovski crystal samples in the mail Friday, so I was able to order my wedding jewelry this weekend from Kira Designs. Ordered my necklace, my earrings, and my hair comb, along with Aspen's necklace. Can't wait to see them!!! She recommended using at least two colors, so I decided on Fuschia and Crystal, with some Fire Opal thrown in. She's the expert, so I'll listen!
Went out for breakfast with Chris this morning at IHop, that was nice. We rarely go out to breakfast, so it was a treat. I had chocolate chip pancakes, yum-o!
Our wedding invitations and the rest of the package (rsvp cards, travel info, etc) are on a cd ready to go to the printer! I'll get them to the printer tomorrow, and soon I'll be stuffing envelopes. In the meantime, I'm going to start addressing the envelopes...
Met with a woman from Budget Blinds today, out at the new house. She measured all of our windows, and will put the order in tomorrow morning. She said it will take about 2-3 weeks for them to be ready.
We still aren't convinced that the house will be ready in time for us to move into it this coming weekend. I'm not even convinced that it will be ready by our closing date on Tuesday the 19th. Grr. Waiting to see.
Mimi found the dress she's going to wear to our wedding...it's so cute! Pretty brown with polka dots...
Today, I bought our toasting glasses for the reception!! I also bought the items I need for the favors. I'll be getting lots of deliveries here shortly, how exciting!!! I have stuff delivered to work, and it's always a treat when the mail guy brings me all these boxes! Feels good to be checking things off my list!
Okidokie...time to do a little more packing...have a good week!

I went to see Knocked Up a couple weekends ago when Gary took the kids to see Spider Man. I really enjoyed it as well. And you are not lying about that F word so many times! I could have done without all of that, but the rest of the movie was really good!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the house moves along faster then it seems it will. I hope you get to move in SOON!!
