Saturday, we went to some antique shops and places like Target, Lowes, the mall. Got some odds and ends that we've been needing for the house, and it feels good to have some of that stuff done. Spent most of Sunday hanging things, but it all looks really nice!
Our bedroom: we decided to put a shelf above the headboard, with multiple frames on it. Looks cute.
In the master bathroom, we removed the frame from over the bathtub and decided to hang our antique, weathered window there. It looks really good too.
In the living room, we did a little collage above our long "photo" table. In the collage, we have our "wedding guest photo mat", the beautiful wedding gift from my aunt Karen and uncle Steve (that has wedding photos of my two sets of grandparents, and an empty space for one of our wedding photos), a frame for another photo, and the antique letters of our new monogram that my friend Angie gave us. Turned out well...all black frames. There will eventually be lots more frames on the table...have to get some out of storage still, and will also buy some as I can.
Love these old antique locker baskets. My friend Angie (who's decorating style I adore) has a few of these around her house, with books in them. So, I stole her idea!
Other than that, ate way too much. Slept late. Ended up at the same place for lunch yesterday as our friend Alvino and his family, so that was enjoyable. We all sat around and talked, it was fun. Now I'm in the midst of laundry, and need to head to the grocery store too. And then, another Monday...

Love the photo area. Photos just make us smile! Keep smiling ~ there are a few hours left of the weekend but agree they go way too fast!
