our christmas

We had a really nice Christmas...hope you all did too! Below are some random photos that we took throughout the day on Christmas Day...

Chris wore the t-shirt that my mom & Randy sent him...he loved that it said "Lifeisgood." He thinks it will be his new motto...because right now, his life IS pretty darn good!!!!!

Me with Aspen right after I called "Time to eat!" Being 31, I'm obviously an adult now...but I had one of those moments on Christmas Day where I vividly stopped in the moment of cooking our Christmas dinner and thought, "I am an adult now." No more relaxing while mom cooks the holiday meals...that task comes to me now. It was an interesting feeling!

A cute one of me and Aspen on the brick wall, in our winter boots and attitude.

Aspen is really taking after me in that she LOVES purses!! This cute one was from Mimi, and she was quite excited about it...

Mimi during the gift opening on Christmas Eve...

Playing with our new camera and the sports function...we are in love with our camera...and my goodness, Aspen's legs are getting so long!

Our little family on Christmas Day...

Aspen was dying for these clogs from American Eagle...and when she outgrows them in a few months, I'm going to snag them up!! :)

This was my favorite gift that I got for Chris...it has so much attitude and is so him! "26.2...Because I Can." When he read this, he got a good chuckle, and then said, "You know, that's something I would actually say!" Exactly.

Just a hodge podge. We took hundreds of photos. No time to share them all here!!! Tomorrow, I will be posting some cool photos we took during our afternoon walk on Christmas Day...

Loved the pictures. It looks like a wonderful Christmas was had by all!

I'm with you on that feeling of being the adult now and not being able to let mom worry about all those Christmas preparations. It's a very odd feeling!

I can TOTALLY relate to having those "I'm a grownup" moments. It's very weird and I don't like it very much!!! You think I'd be used to it by now. I'm 35 and a mother of two. But I still don't feel like I thought being an adult would feel like. You know?

Can't wait to see more photos from this awesome camera! You still haven't told me what it was...
