mission

So, we are in the midst of planning our yearly trip up to St. Louis to visit my friends and family...yay!

We have two possible weeks picked out, and once we find out a few things regarding school, we'll be making our final decision. Looking so forward to seeing everyone! I love our yearly trips up there to my "home"...

This year, I have a mission. There are so many pictures out there that I don't know about. From my childhood. When looking through myspace pages of family members, I stumble upon random photos here and there with me in them. Such great memories and I don't have tangible documentation of them. As a scrapbooker, you surely realize how this drives me crazy!!!

So...if you were a part of my growing-up-years, and you have photos that you think I might want...I'm coming for you! :) If possible, I would like to take them and either have copies made, or scan them in for printing. You've got boxes and boxes of unorganized photos? I don't mind going through them. Trust me. The photos will be safe with me and I will return them promptly. Anyone opposed?

Today, I was browsing through my cousin Katie's myspace page...she has a ton of photos and I enjoyed looking at some of them. Didn't really expect to see any of me, and then wham! I saw one from when I was like 10. See the sidebar Photo of the Day...wow, that photo took me back to the days when I went to Black River Lodge with my grandparents and cousin. Such fun! That is a photo I knew nothing about, and it made me so happy to see. I need more! I'm like a crack junkie!!!!

You Crack Junkie!!!

I think this is a GREAT Mission! I'm glad you will be doing this. I hope that your family is willing to let you borrow their pictures for a while so that you can also have the memories of those photos that they have! I would love to have more from my childhood as well.

Very cool. I love finding little treasures like this, too.
