:: On Labor Day, while we were grilling out some burgers, we took some fun photos of the dogs while they played in the yard. Ocho is at his happiest when someone is throwing his mini tennis ball. It was so hot and his tongue was about to fall out of his mouth, but he wouldn't stop running...
:: Made the Baked Ziti from the Eat Clean Family & Kids cookbook for bunko this evening, and everyone seemed to like it. I thought it was really tasty. And the 12 year old little girl there went back for seconds. Always a good sign! I'll be making for the family in the near future...
:: Had fun at bunko, brought home a good prize. Was nice to relax and laugh with the girls. We had only a small group of 8 instead of 12 this month, and I thought that was just fine.
:: Work was a bit crazy this afternoon...everything sort of exploded all at once. Some days tend to go like that...
:: Had an email from Winkflash today, their photo books are on sale for a flat rate!! (instead of a per-page rate, which really adds up after awhile) I need to get onto finishing the Boston trip journaling, and then get the book ordered. I have until the 16th, plenty of time...very excited to see how it turns out!
:: Got a big batch of photos in the mail yesterday from Winkflash, around 160 I believe. New scrapping material!!
:: Received my new Asics shoes from Zappos today! Love them! They are perfect, just what I've been wanting. Can't wait for Casual Day so I can wear them...
:: At Cross Country practice for the school today, they did a timed mile to see where everyone was at. Aspen came in first out of all the girls on her school's cross country team. That was exciting! All the running she's been doing certainly paid off. This coming Saturday is her very first cross country meet. It is here in town, and we are anxious to see how she does...fingers crossed!!
:: Everyone, send lots of good voodoo to my sweet friend Susan...her husband deployed today. For you non-military types, deployments are no fun to go through, especially when you've got two young children to tend to. My support is with her...
:: Time to get my Clean Eating cooler packed for tomorrow, and get ready for my day. Have a happy day!

THANK YOU!!! I appreciate your support and friendship so much and I know you do get it too...
Congrats to Aspen...she is becoming quite the runner just like her dad. You are doing awesome on your clean eating...so proud of you!!!
My thoughts and prayers are with your friend. I can completely relate to having a deployed husband. Although Jake was in a peace-keeping situation (Bosnia) and not war, I know how it feels to say goodbye.
