finally some photos

:: Well, I'm breaking out of my routine and am trying something new...it's my 3:00 break at work, and I thought I would get my blog post done for the day. That way, I'm not messing with our faulty internet at home, and therefore I will keep my frustration at bay!

:: This is a photo of our temporary digs at the office...this only shows a portion of it. I couldn't get a picture of everyone, but you get the idea. The little arrow points to where I sit. Behind that partition is all of our equipment, including our huge 4 color printer we call Big Mamma. As you can see, very close quarters!!!

:: I thought it would be fun to post this photo too...this is me and one of our city's high school mascots (we have three high schools in town, and this isn't the one Aspen will be going to)...we are at the Heart Walk a few weekends ago, and when we were taking our group photo, this cougar made a bee line for me. For some reason, I am laughing like a loon!

:: I'm enjoying a nice snack of salad, cashews, and wu long tea...I didn't pack wisely today, because I try to have something sweet for my afternoon snack. Some kind of fruit. Because that is when my sweet tooth kicks in. Oh well. This will fill me up nicely.

:: Being the huge nerd that I am, I have my blank "St. Louis Trip 2008" calendar printed out and ready for scheduling. This is one of my favorite things to do. I write down all the people that we want to see, and all the places we want to go. Then, as people begin figuring out when we might be able to get together, I start penciling things in. It is sometimes a juggling act to fit it all and accomodate everyone's schedules, but it always seems to work out. This year, too, I'll have to include Thanksgiving preparations into the plan...making pies and grocery shopping with my mom. Yay!

:: Okidokie, break time is over...at least this way, I was able to share some photos!!

Sorry that you're having internet problems at home still! I hope they can get it back up and working for you guys.

I'm soo glad that you were finally able to make plans for St. Louis! I know that has been driving you nuts! Now let the fun of scheduling begin!

I love your organizing...you make sure to organize things I wouldn't think of...I love it and it gives me great ideas...the mention of Zookini's made me hungry and think of the last time I saw you...way too long ago!!!
