weekend update

:: Another good weekend almost over...oh, to have one more day...

:: Friday night, we had a delicious pasta dinner at Olive Garden...and then I worked on 2 of the 4 remaining pages for the Ellery album.

:: Saturday, Aspen had another cross country meet, and did well. She came in fourth out of 96 girls, and it was a good race. She ran her best mile time yet (6:25) and fought it out for third place. But just didn't have the energy for a kick at the end because of running faster on the course. We are very proud of the fourth place finish though...and another medal for her collection!

:: I rode my bike...I ordered a cake as a favor for someone who had to leave town for a funeral...I finished the last 2 Ellery pages, and thus finished the album!!!!! For the most part...I still need to finish getting the pages into the page protectors and put final touches on two pages. Then done done done and will be able to invoice it.

:: I have pretty toes and fingernails done up in Lincoln Park After Dark! Mimi found some for me at Trade Secrets, and it is darrrrk. I really like it. It's a very very very dark brown with a purple undertone. It looks blackish, but it is warmer since it is brown.

:: Have to take the Murano in to the service shop again. First, it was a recall for the clock...it would reset every 45 days to some random time. That's all fixed. Now, the recall is for an improperly functioning Transmission Controller. Oh my! Will get that taken care of this week.

:: My whole department at work has been sickly...and we are in very cramped quarters, so everyone has passed it on to everyone. Me and two other people have escaped it somehow, not sure why or how. Now, Chris has it! He's been a bit puny the past two days, and spending a lot of time on the couch resting. Which is not like him at all, he hates to do nothing. So, he's obviously sick! (But don't ask him, he'd deny it with all he's worth!) I am hoping to not get sick. I managed to escape it from my coworkers...can I escape it from someone I share a bed with??

:: Still having internet troubles at home. Not sure what the deal is. It will not let us upload any files or photos. Thus, no photo of Aspen in this post. I hope we'll be able to get this problem fixed soon!
