:: This evening, we zoomed home from work, changed clothes, and hopped back in the car for a 45 minute drive to Sweetwater for a basketball game. We got there just in time to watch the last few minutes of the A Team's game, they won by one point. And then we watched the B Team play and beat Sweetwater's B Team, by quite a large margin. Go Wylie! We stopped for a quick dinner on the way home, and now Chris has gone up to the junior high to pick up Aspen. The bus had to wait around for the 8th grade to finish, and they travel a bit slower. She will be a tired girl tomorrow morning.
:: Work was super busy today, but I managed to mark everything off my to-do list. Even got some good news. It's definitely turning out to be a great year so far, professionally...
:: I'm nearing the end of my Obama book...I have about 60 pages to go...it's been an interesting book, and I am happy that I chose to read a book like this. It definitely goes a lot slower for me though...and I must admit to skimming a few paragraphs here and there :) Next up, I have a choice of two that I am looking very forward to. Either "The Tenth Circle" by Jodi Picoult, or "Sundays at Tiffanys" by James Patterson. May have to flip a coin.
:: This weekend holds a basketball tournament here in town...so that's where we'll be Friday night. And that is where Chris and Aspen will be most of Saturday. I will be with Kim at our monthly scrapbook crop, and I'm looking forward to it!
:: I've got a small window of time between now and bed...so I'd better go make the most of it!!
