busy & great weekend

Lots to share!

:: Saturday, I had the pleasure of hosting the monthly scrapbook crop at our house. It was such a relaxing day with my girlfriends, and even productive...I go 13 pages done, and am happy with that.

:: Chris' friend Greg came over on Saturday to help Chris with some "handy man" things around the house...yay!!!! They accomplished so much. The hung the metal artwork we bought in Fredericksburg on the back porch brick. They replaced the fan in Aspen's bedroom. They rehung the toilet paper hangers in both bathrooms (they had not been put up correctly in the first place by the builder). They bought plywood and made a "floor" in the attic, and Chris was able to put a ton of our garage junk up in there. Very very productive. We heart Greg!!!

:: Saturday evening, Chris and I went to the Paramount with Kim and Gary to see Dark Knight. We received free tickets from work, and had planned this about 6 months ago! Fun for it to actually finally arrive! The movie was interesting. I was confused on some of it, but I was interested in seeing Heath Ledger in his last role before he died. He was eerie. Did a great job. The funniest part of the whole evening was that my dear sweet Kim fell asleep multiple times during the movie! :) I should've expected as much...she is always telling stories of curling up with a blanket at home and never seeing what happens in a movie! Had a great time...

:: Sunday, we went to look at a house. This was very interesting, because all three of us were very excited to go see it. We each had a "feeling" about it. It is a bit of a departure for us because it is "country"...it is only 5 minutes from work, and right down the main highway. Turn off onto one road, then turn right away, curve back into the country, and there it is. About 9 acres. A house that is 1 year old. Great house, great layout. Has a pool! All three of us loved it. This could be the one! We have some thinking to do...
