quick update

:: I received my last allergy shot on Wednesday...kind of scary!! We will see how it goes...I've got four months until my next check up appointment, so we will see how the allergies go...

:: Making major progress on my annual report...I'm not entirely fond of the graphic theme I was given to use because I don't feel it has anything to do with our company or business, but the copy is really good and it does look good regardless of theme!! Full book is due on Monday...

:: Watching Idol now...good thing we have DVR! Still not really into it but thought I would watch and see anyway.

:: Tonight I am making my mom's salisbury steak recipe...have had it for awhile and just stumbled across it so I thought I would try it. We liked it when she made it but we'll see how mine turns out. I thought we had an electric skillet, but it turns out we have the skillet but no cord. Hmmm. Doesn't do me much good then! So I'll have to make in a regular skillet. Could be disastrous. :)

:: My Kim comes back to work tomorrow!!!!!!!!!! Even though she works on the opposite side of the building and I rarely ever see her in the office, I could definitely feel her absence these last 30 days. I'm not sure why, because we still texted nearly everyday and that is pretty much the same as emailing at work...but it was different. Happy to have her back!! She may not be quite so happy, because I can't imagine how tough it will be to come back after 30 days off of no thoughts of work. I know she quite enjoyed it, and all that time with her family.

:: Beautiful weather here today...love it. So ready for Spring!! The first day is Saturday and it can't come soon enough. The first day of Spring is an even more special day because it is Fonda's birthday!!! Wish I was there to celebrate it with her...

:: Ocho Update: he's started screaming again. I called the surgeon vet today and she thinks that he is overdoing it. She wants him to spend almost the entire day in his crate, for at least a week. We can get him out to go to the bathroom, and then back to the crate. Walking around, even just a few minutes, really made him hurt. They are also letting me up his pain meds from a quarter pill to a half pill, until he seems a little better.
