:: Tell me...how does one free agent basketball player garner so much dang attention? Pie charts and surveys and the title "King". A full production show on ESPN to announce where he's going to play? And all this by the age of 25? Seriously.

:: My hummingbird officially found my feeder! He drank for a long time, while I stood on the front porch holding my watering can. My watering can that is red and that attracted him to within 15 inches of where I stood! Crazy stuff! I love nature.

:: We also have these in our yard. Pretty wicked looking, like a jumbo wasp, bee, hornet, dragonfly combo. We even saw ours attack a locust and kill it, then drag it off to a hole. Neither of us had ever seen one of these before.

:: I finished Perfect Match...it is definitely worth the read, but knowing how she writes, I predicted how she would end it. I love the detail of her work, the way she ties multiple viewpoints together into one story and it makes it that much richer. She likes to put the reader in a situation that makes them uncomfortable so that they have to really evaluate how they feel on certain matters. In this book: Is murder ever okay?

:: One week from now, Chris will be on a long plane ride headed to Uganda. It's a little unreal, really. Makes me sad to think of all those days without him...makes me excited for all the wonderful things he is going to experience there...makes me jealous that he'll be doing it all without me!!! :)

:: Tomorrow, I will be partaking in a lunch with our CEO and some of the other people in our company who took their Sabbaticals in the month of May. It will be a good time of reflection, and I am looking forward to it. I am already ready for another Sabbatical, because mine was simply amazing. We'll discuss what we learned, and how we're moving forward into normal life again.
