high school graduation!

High School Graduation -- such a surreal experience when you are witnessing your own child cross that stage!! What a milestone! So happy to be a part of it all.

We started off with a few photos at the house...then we made our caravan way toward the ACU Moody Coliseum. We found seats close to where Aspen would be sitting...we took up an entire row, in addition to a few others who sat elsewhere. Lots of people excited to celebrate Ms. Aspen!

They started playing the music, and the graduates all filed in...there were numerous speakers, a few songs, and then they started calling out the names...the ceremony took about an hour and fifteen minutes. We were so dang proud to see Aspen cross the stage with her "diploma"!

After they sang their school song, and threw their hats, Aspen turned around and gave us this -- she is such a poser :)

Kim and Gary surprised us by attending!!! I had no idea they were coming. Looked up while we were taking photos and there they were! They are such blessings in our life, I am so thrilled they came to celebrate with us!

That evening, from 11:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m., Aspen went to her Project Graduation -- and from a girl who likes to go to bed early and sleep a lot, it was difficult for her to stay awake all night! She did though -- and had fun too!! I snagged this sleepy selfie from her phone!

Congrats Aspen!!! We love you and are so proud of you! Can't wait to see where your future leads you!
