good day

:: Work was good today, busy. That seems to be the new norm.

:: We had life group this evening, and it was good! We are getting to know everyone a little better, and our topic tonight was the different ways that we hear from God. And one of those ways, a big way, is through our spouses. God uses our spouse to show us His heart...and we need to make sure that that channel between us is open and clear so those messages can come through. But so many things block that channel. Our homework for this week is to individually write lists of the things we think block our channel with each other, and then compare the lists. And then we'll be talking about it next week at life group. Should be interesting!

:: Our book study went very well this morning...people are starting to open up a bit and that's good. We talked about courage today, as it pertains to leadership. The question he asked was "What is the most courageous thing you've ever done?" I'd love to hear yours, please share in the comments! Mine was -- stepping into the role of a step mom.

:: So, it's been a full day -- time to relax. I need more time in the day!!
