Merry Christmas everyone!! Happy birthday Jesus!!
:: We have had a good holiday...Christmas Eve, we went to the 3:15 candle light service at church. Then we enjoyed snacks and opened gifts. We also received our annual visit from the Halfmanns, bearing treats! Christmas morning, we opened stockings and then enjoyed a big yummy lunch around 1:00. It was a very low-key, nice Christmas.

Chris and I on Christmas Eve, before heading to run last minute errands -- under the mistletoe |
Poppy and Ocho received the cutest gifts! For Rudolph's 50th anniversary, we got them a Rudolph and a Clarice -- they love them!! Poppy has not left her's alone. She keeps hiding it, checking on it, and hiding it again. She has never done that, so we are getting a kick out of it! |
This Royal Haeger antique donkey was my gift from Chris -- I love him! He is almost 100 years old!! He is now residing on my nightstand in our bedroom! |
Mimi gave Chris two different bottle openers for his shop/game room. He thought they were very cool! Now to finish the shop/game room so he can put them to good use! |
This year, we decided to give Mimi a trip to New York -- she was super excited! She has always wanted to go, and she and Chris will take the trip March 6th. |
Chris wrote her a sweet letter, and then she opened this shirt and just started to cry. She's been talking about it non-stop since! Her first comment was, "We can be on Good Morning America!!" |
I gave Chris this case for his 22 rifle -- he really liked it, and was impressed that he didn't have to tell me he needed one :) |
Later in the evening Christmas Eve, Kim and her family stopped by with treats -- brownies and cinnamon candy! They are big blessings in our life!!! |
:: Today, I also spent a few hours cleaning out my scrapbook closet. It was in shambles, and now it is organized and clean. Ready for use!!
:: Back to work tomorrow. I am praying for a slow day. It is just me and Vanessa in our department. I'd love to catch up on some things!!
Merry Christmas friends and family!!!
