2015 is here!

Happy New Year from the Babers!

We had a very low-key New Year's Eve...Abilene received a lot of ICE the last two days, so everyone was pretty much celebrating at their own homes last night! The roads are horrible -- they handled over 100 car accidents yesterday. Chris and I did venture out to the office so we could work out, and we took the country roads. On the way back, we took the highway, and saw a car flipped upside down. Yikes.

So, we stayed in. We had planned on getting out for sushi, but instead I made some grilled cheese and popcorn :) Not too much food in the house to choose from. Hopefully we aren't trapped for long, we will starve!!

After we ate, we broke out the champagne and the Yahtzee! Mimi spent the evening playing with us, and we had a fun time! She got a bit tipsy and that was fun to see :) I sabered a bottle of champage, and it worked perfectly! Pop! The top flew off into the yard! It looks impressive, but is really easier than you'd think -- you slide the saber down the seam of the glass bottle, and when you hit the lip it explodes off because of the pressure inside the bottle. Festive! We watched Ryan Seacrest's New Year's show and kissed at midnight...goodbye 2014! You were filled with many, many wonderful memories and also some pretty low moments. We thank God for it all!

May your new year be filled with blessings galore!!! Keep scrolling to see my goals for 2015! I had scheduled it to post yesterday but it didn't for some reason.
