Today is my hubby's birthday!! We unfortunately had to work, but it still turned out to be a pretty darn good day!
:: At work, his coworkers decorated his area with a birthday sign, and he also got a few treats, too! Our friend, Zack, made his famous homemade cinnamon rolls and our friend, Jane, made him some little blueberry and banana pancakes! Lots of sweet treats!!
:: He chose Copper Creek for our dinner celebration...it was delicious! We had a good evening hanging out as a family, with some good laughs. That is always so good!
:: Then we came home for gifts and the chocolate cherry cake I made! He got some fun shirts and a nice pair of shorts...as well as gift cards for dinners out! And the cake, they say, was relish!

:: Now, there are some fireworks going off and Poppy does not like that too much. Poor girl.
:: We are excited to be off tomorrow for the 4th of July!!!!! Looking forward to a nice relaxing day. Not sure what we'll be doing yet, but it will include some sausage tacos and hopefully some time in the pool, too!
