the big 1-0

Yep...Aspen has reached the double digits...she turned 10 today!



First things first...a trip to Mimi's cosmetology school to have her nails done...bright pink for her fingernails, bright pink with black zebra stripes for her toes...adorable. Some of the students chipped in and bought her a little cake and sang to her...I thought that was super sweet...



After a quick lunch, we headed to Play Faire Park, a cute miniature golf course. We had lots of fun here, took lots of pictures, and roasted in the sun. A great time had by all! We each got a hole in one throughout the day, too!

I fell in love with this bright orange wall, and had to have some pictures in front of it...here's my super fine man!

Then home for presents!! The girl wracked it in this year! But Ms. Aspen was very appreciative, very thankful, very excited about it all. It was wonderful to see her having such a grateful heart. It makes it all worthwhile...



Very excited about her teeny bopper mags! She was worried for a moment because the cover said that Jesse McCarty quit because of doctor's orders!!!! But thankfully, he's just quitting Red Bull, not singing...whew!!!



And her $40 in singles...it took her forever to count them all up, and then she was quite excited!!!



Mimi got her this cool new watch! It even has indiglo! :)



The big 1-0...I met this girl when she was 6, and it's hard to believe how much she's grown...she's becoming quite the young lady...we are proud of her...
