another one bites the dust

The weekends go by too fast! That's one thing I know for certain.

Friday, Chris, Aspen, and I went to dinner at China Star. Mmm mmm. I was craving it, and it sure was tasty. Then did a little running shoe shopping for Chris -- no luck. After we got home, I did a scrapbook page for Ellery's album...moving right along! We also moved Ocho's crate into the bathroom and out of our bedroom...something has to change with the sleep situation, and I'm taking steps to do just that! So far so good. And hopefully it will only get better.

Saturday, we did some more shopping. I was looking for a pair of new casual white tennis shoes, and decided on some white Chucks. They're adorable, they've got a pink rim on them. Still no running shoes for Chris :( He's going to have to order online. We also had a big day at PetSmart for Ocho...got some tiny nail scissors to trim his nails, and a pooper scooper for Aspen to get after our yard. And, yes, we had to upgrade Ocho's crate. He's almost outgrown the first one we got him!!! :( He's getting too big for my tastes! But, he's still only 5 pounds. So...he's got a bigger "condo" now, and it has a door on the top as well...which Chris has been calling his sunroof... :) Also did a second Ellery page...so that brings my total there to 14, I believe...

Sunday was chores. Cleaned the house, laundry, grocery shopped. Just made dinner and we're about the eat. Then I plan to sit my big bootie down for a little relaxation. Maybe read my magazine, or some Dog Whisperer...

Tomorrow is the first day of school here in Texas...Aspen will be starting the 5th grade...there will be pictures coming, of course! She took extra time doing her hair this evening so she'll look nice...a trend that I hope will continue longer than this first week!! :) Ahhh...to be 10 and hating showers again...
