weird

Sometimes, the world strikes me as such a weird, odd place...I look at all of the people in the mall, at the airport, passing by in their cars. They all have a story. They all have bad things in their lives. Good things in their lives. They've all made decisions that have led them to the place they are today. One little difference in the scheme of their lives, and everything could have been different. That thought alone blows my mind.

Parents try so hard when they are raising their children...they have such high hopes for them. Such big dreams. No parent ever thought, I wish my child would grow up to be in an abusive relationship...become a drug addict...steal money from the company they work for...be a bad friend...have issues with intimacy...be lazy...be jobless...so many options.

Things like that are never on the "wish" list, but nonetheless, things like that still happen. Each and every one of us has bad qualities. In a world where parents strive to teach their children goodness and morals and work ethic, we all fail on some level.

I wish that wasn't the case. But we're human. No one is perfect.

Thoughts like this overwhelm me sometimes. Better not to think about it!

I totally could have written that post. I think those exact same things sometimes.

Very thought provoking. I've thought about this before as well. Does make you wonder where people have come from and where they are going in their lives.

Gee, thanks.

Nice train of thought to get a pregnant woman with a toddler on.

; )

I think about the same things sometimes. I just try really hard not too!
