another good day

:: Today was another fun day with mamma! We had lunch at a delightful little tea room called Hickory Street Cafe...known for their chicken salad and their zuchini bread. We both enjoyed the chicken salad, and it's definitely a place we'll go again.

:: After lunch, we went to the Abilene Zoo! I haven't been there in years, and she has never been. I must say, it hasn't changed a whole lot since the last time I was there, and it isn't much to write home about! But, we enjoyed ourselves nonetheless...

:: We browsed around in a book store for awhile, and then headed home for southwest chicken in the crockpot and Survivor!!

:: Chris comes home tomorrow, YAY! I have missed him soooooo!!
